Thai food is well known as long history and has been inherited from time to time and from generation to generation. It has been developed steadily since the Sukhothai period (around 300 years ago) to the present. In the period of King Rama IV of the Chakri Dynasty, Thailand has extensive contacts with foreign countries. As a result of opening trading to overseas, It has a intense flavor from several ingredient. Thai food has a variety of flavors - spicy, sour, sweet, salty, bitter taste that is very rich in foods like “Tom Yum soup” the popuar dishes in Thailand and overseas. The taste is led by sour and spicy followed by the fragrant smell of herbs and leaves. Pad Thai Noodle which is led by the sweet and sour taste of tamarind and palm sugar and followed by salty mellow flavor and when combine with other ingredients such as rice noodle, tofu, dried shrimp making a delicious dishes which are well known throughout the world. However, not only the unique flavor to condiments used in cooking but also the meticulously methods of preparation, step of cooking and also the food presentation. Thai food is a science and a delicate art that used a lot of technique in presentation such as food carving, food decoration and garnishing. This will provide the first impression and making it more interested to attract people to the art of Thai food. In the survey of 50 most delicious food in the world of the year 2016 by CNN, the results showed that several Thai food was on the charts. Such papaya salad ranked 46th, Spicy beef salad on the 19th, Tom Yum Goong ranked eighth and Massaman Curry ranked as one.
